DipNation is a family run company that was set up by Jeremy & Juliet Williams and Juliet’s brother Patrick Gilmour. Since its conception in June 2009 DipNation has been tempting the taste buds of the nation with its range of mouth-watering dips.
Inspired by the variety of dips available overseas and bored at the lack of choice in the UK the Chunky Dip range was created. Made from an imaginative mix of the highest quality, great tasting, bite-sized ingredients they became an instant hit. These tantalising flavours were complimented by a range of middle-eastern inspired Classic Dips launched in April 2010
Exotic Thai Lizard Meatballs
Half a tub of DipNation Exotic Thai Chunky Dip
1 red pepper, de-seeded and finely diced
450g minced beef or pork
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
85g walnuts or cashew nuts, finely chopped
1 tbsp tomato puree
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
For the sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce
5 tbsp water
1 tbsp wine vinegar (red or white)
1/2 tbsp sugar
4-5 spring onions, finely sliced
Mix all the meatball ingredients together really well. If you have a food processor the mixture can be whizzed briefly: this prevents the meatballs from breaking up when they are cooked.
