Our story…


DipNation is a family run company that was set up by Jeremy & Juliet Williams and Juliet’s brother Patrick Gilmour. Since its conception in June 2009 DipNation has been tempting the taste buds of the nation with its range of mouth-watering dips.

Inspired by the variety of dips available overseas and bored at the lack of choice in the UK the Chunky Dip range was created. Made from an imaginative mix of the highest quality, great tasting, bite-sized ingredients they became an instant hit. These tantalising flavours were complimented by a range of middle-eastern inspired Classic Dips launched in April 2010

Recipe of the month

Onion, Spinach & Feta Tart

Ingredients

Half a tub of DipNation Sponach & Feta Chunky Dip

200g puff pastry

1 largish onion, sliced

Good knob of butter and lug of olive oil

Salt & pepper

Thyme - couple of sprigs

Olive oil to drizzle

Method

Cook the onion over a low to medium heat with the knob of butter and lug of oil until soft, translucent and golden.  This takes time but is worth the effort!  Allow about 20 minutes.  Once cooked, mix together with Spinach & Feta dip in a bowl.  Season with salt and pepper and half the thyme leaves.

Unroll pastry onto a lightly floured baking sheet.  Cut to about 20x25cm.  Score a border 1-2cm in from each edge and prick all over with a fork.  Top the mixture onto the pastry, and spread evenly but not onto the border.  Brush the border with some of the onion mixture from the pan.  

Bake until golden and puffed and just beginning to brown - about 15 minutes.  Take out of oven and sprinkle with remaining thyme leaves and drizzle with some olive oil.
